Detective Rain Kaylani Lei is a beautiful, well-respected detective on her beat, that is until she is assigned to a case in which she soon finds herself way in over her head. Soon Rain finds herself falling for the prime suspect and is torn between doing her job and relinquishing all the incriminating evidence against her lover or throwing away all she has ever known and sacrificed for her job, for love.
