Paul and Laura have been inseparable best friends since the tender age of two, but when Paul and Laura both go off to college, something between them changes. Paul marries his high school sweetheart Kate, which causes the two to grow further and further apart. As the years pass and Paul's marriage begins to fall to pieces, Paul begins to see Laura in a whole different light. Why hadn't they ever taken their friendship to a romantic level Had he really been that blind not to see that he had everything he needed in Laura all this time Laura too begins to wonder that maybe, just maybe if they had given love a shot things, would have turned out differently for both of them. What the two soon realize is that love if it is meant to be has a way of finding you when you least expect it. Best friends, sometimes love is right in front of you.
